Position Scope:
This role contributes to our overall success by:
- Overseeing store operations and the team of store partners to develop and maintain the Starbucks Experience for our partners and customers.
- The primary responsibilities of a store manager include achieving sales goals, increasing profitability, managing staff, addressing customer service issues, and ensuring safety and security measures are in place.
As a Store Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Assigning partners and scheduling tasks to fulfill operational requirements and ensuring job quality.
- Building relationships with customers and other partners to understand service requirements and anticipate future consumer needs.
- Maintaining a calm demeanor in unique or high-volume situations, upholding store operation standards, and serving as a role model for the shift crew.
- Demonstrating a passion for coffee and sharing knowledge with others.
- Instilling a culture of accountability among partners and providing training to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Gathering and responding to customer feedback.
The duties of a supervisor include:
- Planning, allocating, and directing labor, selecting and training partners.
- Regularly communicating with and evaluating the team.
- Encouraging independent decision-making within the team.
- Developing operational and strategic plans, overseeing their execution, and assessing performance.
- Collecting and evaluating data on employee performance.
- Addressing grievances, providing counseling, training, and issuing reprimands.
- Ensuring operational and legal compliance among partners.
- Fostering a culture of respect for coffee and encouraging team members to share their knowledge.
- Achieving financial goals by budgeting expenses, analyzing discrepancies, and taking corrective action.
- Managing store sales, including cash management, deposits, and reconciliation.
- Authorizing contracts and maintaining inventory to ensure availability of goods and services.
- Ensuring compliance with legal standards to maintain a stable and reputable store.
- Analyzing sales data and forecasting future sales volumes to enhance revenues.
- Staying informed about market developments in the retail sector, upcoming customer initiatives, and local competition.
- Conducting regular shop meetings.
- Taking responsibility for improving and enhancing store performance to support organizational growth.
- Minimum 12th pass (preferably with a background in IHM or hotel management)
- Proficient in Latte Art
- Extensive knowledge of coffee
